Molly Querim unveiled as MMA Awards 2010 co-host
20th October 2010
Molly Querim has been unveiled as the co-host of this year’s World Mixed Martial Awards, which take place in Las Vegas this December 1st.
Querim, who will be familiar to many US viewers as the face of various ESPN sports shows, is an Emmy Award winner and a long time sports reporter. She has long taken an active interest in mixed martial arts and was a natural choice for the role.
“Molly is a top-flight presenter who brings glamour and an intimate knowledge of the sport from her time at ESPN. We can't wait to see the chemistry between her and host Randy Couture," Fighters Only president and CEO Rob Hewitt remarked.
The World Mixed Martial Arts Awards are now in their third year and the 2010 ceremony promises to be the biggest and best yet.
Last year’s awards were marked by some of the biggest names in the sport willingly spoofing themselves in video skits (Randy Couture) and getting riotously drunk (Diego Sanchez) at the pre-Christmas black-tied shindig.
Interestingly, World Mixed Martial Arts organisers had considered Carmen Electra as a co-host but felt that Querim’s credential s made her a perfect fit. She will take to the stage alongside Randy Couture on December 1st in an event that is being streamed live online for MMA fans around the world.
