 Fighters Only was the World’s first monthly MMA and lifestyle magazine launching in February 2005 with the aim of providing MMA fans with high quality news, reviews and features in a magazine format. Since the first issue the magazine has set precedents that 'break the mould' in which combat sports have been represented in print.
The past four years have seen tremendous growth for the publication. By 2008 Fighters Only was on sale in 13 countries worldwide. In January 2009 Fighters Only increased the number of issues produced in a year from 12 to 13. In February 2009 Fighters Only launched dedicated US and Canadian editions with a German edition launching in April 2009.
Since re launching Fightersonlymag.com in 2007 our online audience has increased to half a million unique visitors a month and continues to grow by the day providing fans with up to the minute news, event reports, interviews, videos, features and much more.
In 2008 we launched the World Mixed Martial Arts awards to give fans of the sport a voice in the industry. The inaugural World MMA Awards garnered over 21,000 votes and was the first fan voted awards of its type. The 2009 World MMA Awards will eclipse the previous years with the world’s first MMA awards event to be held at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Further announcements are planned which will reveal the full extent and reach of this groundbreaking venture.
