Welcome to the inaugural World Mixed Martial Arts Awards, the first MMA Awards that gives YOU the power to pick who wins which category from a truly open field.
 
The World Mixed Martial Arts Awards aim to reward and acknowledge outstanding achievements and efforts in MMA worldwide. Fighters, promoters and industry individuals will be eligible to win in a variety of categories that reflect their accomplishments in the sport. To be recognised for your achievements by the public is considered by many to be the ultimate accolade and these awards allow just that.
 
Mixed Martial Arts fans are the best sports fans in the world and we feel that these awards will give you a voice in the industry. With totally open nominations for the first time ever in this sport the scene is set for that voice to be heard, loud and clear. Using state of the art awards technology we put you, the fans, in control of the winners in all but one of sixteen categories.
 
After working through the nominations and checking eligibility criteria had been conformed to we're proud to announce the five finalists in each category. You'll need to create an account to vote – this is to avoid vote fixing and ensure fairness – but once its set up pick who you think should win and get voting.  The winners in each category will be announced at the end of the year.
