Breakthrough Fighter of the Year |
Awarded to the fighter who has had a rapid and meteoric impact on the elite level of the sport. A true superstar of the future, an athlete who has risen in status within his/her weight class and profile within the sport.
Criteria: Nominees must have fought within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011. Nominees can not be Champions or have had high level status within the sport outside of the nomination period. Nominees can have had a lengthy tenure within MMA. |

International Fighter of the Year |
Awarded to the leading mixed martial artist from outside of the Americas for his/her contribution to the sport and successes both inside and outside of the cage.
Criteria: Nominees must have fought within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011. Must have origins from outside of North and South America but may either reside or train there now. |

Awarded to the two fighters involved in the most exciting fight staged during the year. Whether it be a stand up slugfest, a technical chess match or a thrilling spectacle voters should vote on merit and entertainment factors.
Criteria: Nominees must have fought within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011.

Awarded to the fighter who scored the most sensational and spectacular knockout victory of the year.
Criteria: Nominees must have fought within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011. Can be either a straight Knockout or Technical Knockout.

Awarded to the fighter who scored the most technical and/or slickest submission victory of the year.
Criteria: Nominees must have fought within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011.

Awarded to the fighter who has managed to completely turn circumstances around, whether that be with his entire career or in a single moment of success in the face of adversity.
Criteria: Nominees must have fought within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011. Nominees could have returned from illness, injury or sabbatical to fight again or turn around a fight from seemingly insurmountable circumstances to win.

Ring Entrance of the Year |
Awarded to not only the most entertaining and original of ring walks, but also one that generates the biggest reception from the crowd.
Criteria: Nominees must have fought within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011.

Awarded to the most successful coach working in top-level mixed martial arts.
Criteria: Nominees must have had a defining role within areas of fighter success and development within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011.
Votes should be awarded on merit and success achieved. |

Awarded to the gym that has not only enjoyed great success inside the cage, but has also helped to develop the sport of MMA outside of the elite level.
Criteria: Nominees must have an active working Gym with a fight team or community programme. Success of the fighter stable working out of the gym and or the efforts it has made to have a positive influence on the sport and the people within in it are key factors. |

Awarded to the most efficient and consistent official in mixed martial arts.
Criteria: Nominees must have officiated within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011. Votes should be based on performance, technical knowledge, safety and maintaining the best interests of the fighters and fans. |

Ringcard Girl of the Year |
Awarded to the fans favorite Ringcard girl.
Criteria: Nominees must have worked as a Rincard Girl within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011. Beauty, personality, impact on the sport and fan appeal being key factors. |

Awarded to the leading industry executive in the world of MMA who has had the most prominent and influential part in the growth and development in the Mixed Martial Arts Industry and everyone within it.
Criteria: Nominees must have held and operated a senior executive position that had an impact on the industry the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011. Whether it be a commissioner, company president or executive employee, a Manager/Agent or even a politician, this award is presented to the movers and shakers, hirers and firers that make planet MMA turn successfully.

Awarded to a leading personality/face within the sport whose professionalism and personality has become synonymous with mixed martial arts and whose expertise and profile has helped represent the sport to the masses.
Criteria: Nominees must have been involved in the industry within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011. Cutmen/Cornermen, TV/Radio presenters/commentators, Ring Announcers, Pundits, behind the scenes operatives with a public profile are all viable nominees.

Criteria: Nominees must have been in production and supply within the 12 month period Sept 1st 2010 – August 31st 2011. Quality, style, and value are key factors. Eg. Performance clothing, Gis, fight shorts, rash guards etc.
